About Me

About me

“Find what it is that you love to do and make a career of it, and you will never work a day in your life”.

10+ years supporting a large water and wastewater utility.

You have likely heard the adage… “Find what it is that you love to do and make a career of it, and you will never work a day in your life”. My father taught me that philosophy. And then, just like that…BOOM, I was an analyst! Well, not quite. As a young child, I was very analytical. Sometime around 4-5 years old, I was having a very inquisitive conversation with my father…and even though I cannot recall the subject, it must have been serious business! I remember hearing myself asking “What about this?… But what about that?… What if this happens?” My father looked me right in the eyes and he said, “Son, quit playing the what-if game. You are thinking up a lot of things that will never happen!”

Today, I am still very analytical, and I have learned not to take myself too seriously! I have enjoyed bringing my analytic skills together with logic, emotional intelligence, and knowledge to solve complex problems, analyze data, verify report accuracy, and manage critical systems. I am enthusiastic about being a people person and seeing people as individuals.

With over 10 years of experience supporting a water distribution and wastewater utility, I still get excited working across functional teams to build bridges and drive organizational objectives towards the finish line! I take pride in translating technical concepts for diverse audiences, facilitating change, and helping teams embrace tools that improve efficiency and decision-making.

Lastly, I am a lifelong learner. I have had more than one career in a technical field, each requiring absorbing information like I was drinking water from a fire hydrant! In 2024, I finished my MBA program. However, my mind is already starting to think about the next goal, the next challenge, the next plan.

I have 5+ years of Data Analyst experience, and over 10 years supporting a water distribution and wastewater utility. What does my future hold? I am excited to find out! I believe I still have a whole lot more to unpack and offer up. Let’s connect!
