Asset Management Program Analyst

Responsible for assisting the Asset Management Administrator with managing day-to-day asset management duties for a County Utility organization with over 3,000+ assets, 1200 miles of vertical sewer lines, and 1400 miles of water main lines servicing approximately 250,000+ customers. Execute System Administrator duties for the Water Information Management System (WIMS), the RIO mobile software platform, and Cityworks, a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Utilize SQL to query, analyze, and report data. Create reports, dashboards, data entry forms, inspection templates, and work order templates for critical systems for over 100+ employees. Routine problem-solving, critical thinking, and analysis of data in support of multiple teams. Create procedures and train staff (incorporating visual, audio, reading, and kinesthetic training methods) to ensure knowledge transfer (40+ employees trained in both group and one-on-one settings). Provides technical support and testing on software systems as needed. Monitors the quality of work through planning and offers corrective feedback as necessary.

Results:

• Utilize SQL to verify and extract over 1,000,000 wastewater data points for critical Master Study plans, including arranging the data in an easy-to-use format for the end users.
• Lead, plan, define, direct, and execute the scope of work and tasks for critical changes within the Water Information Management System (WIMS) to align with new workflows and processes, including changes to critical EPA reports, monthly data entry forms, dashboards, and variables (In progress – ahead of schedule).

Business Operations Analyst

Responsible for a wide range of duties, including administrative duties, systems administration/maintenance, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulation review report creation/generation (including critical EPA reports), statistical/data analysis, vendor relations and management, and records retention/compliance. Duties include making recommendations for actions on policies, procedures, and process improvements for 2 wastewater plants, a water quality team, and an environmental lab.

Results:

• Utilized SQL functions/syntax and statements to query and validate data, and for reporting and dashboard creation purposes within the Water Information Management System (WIMS); acting as a system administrator (20+ reports, 10+ dashboards).
• Project Manager on a $50,000 software system refresh and clean-up project with an International Corporation (Hach), which resulted in a partnership in collaborating on the development of a QA/QC lab batch module for the entire system, improving functionality for water and wastewater labs.
• Execute new employee onboarding training in departmental IT systems (6-hour training for approximately 15+ employees on an individual or group-based basis).
• Directed cross-functional team toward revising the pay-in process for the environmental lab, which resulted in approximately 20% workflow efficiency and error reductions between departments.
• Conducted departmental data analysis on Cityworks, a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), resulting in 17 pages of documented issues and concerns.

Office Manager

Performed a wide range of duties utilizing attention to detail in a fast-paced, energy-demanding environment. Job duties included sales, advanced multitasking, customer management, customer service, assistant operation management and coordination, strategic planning (SWOT analysis), service writing, overseeing multiple projects, and working with vendors and B2B companies to resolve various issues while building positive and lasting relationships.

Results:

• Overhauled warranty labor claims process; saving thousands of dollars in losses (unpaid claims) while enhancing tracking abilities and improving vendor relations.
• Responsible for Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable for approximately $33,000 monthly.
• Performed cost analysis on several products/suppliers, resulting in various and numerous savings (e.g., 50%+ reduction in uniform costs from Miller’s Textiles).
• Managed multiple projects, including commercial video media, Website SEO/Mobile initiatives, creating published printed media, and negotiating marketing contracts.
• Managed and directed SEO initiatives via third-party company oversight/management, customer reviews, Google Analytics, and more. This resulted in the company web page moving from several pages back to the top 1-3 spot on the first page for several search parameters such as “Auto Repair Springfield, OH”. Direct management and oversight of the initial mobile-friendly website.

Career Transition / College

General Motors Truck and Bus Moraine Assembly Plant closed permanently, and I was a part of the second wave of layoffs out of three waves. I viewed this event as an opportunity to obtain a formal education and to transition to a new career. The gap in my employment is the transition and retraining period.
